NOTICE OF RATE MEETING

Members of Sumner-Cowley Electric are invited to attend a public rate meeting to discuss a potential rate change regarding Parallel Generation and Net Metering. This meeting will take place at the beginning of our regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, July 23rd at 9:00 a.m., at the SCEC headquarters located at 2223 N. A St-Wellington. If you have an interest in Parallel Generation or Net Metering, we encourage you to attend. The official tariffs and riders under consideration are listed below.
 

The Board of Directors of Sumner-Cowley Electric Cooperative, Inc. will meet on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025, at 9:00a.m. to discuss the proposed Net Metering Rider and Small Generation Interconnection Policy (SGIP).  This meeting will be held at the cooperative's headquarters located at 2223 N. A Street - Wellington, KS and will be open to any member of the cooperative who wishes to attend.  

Action on retail rates (Net  Metering, Parallel Generation and SGIP only) may be taken at that time.  Members have the right to request review by the Kansa Corporation Commission of any rate change approved by the cooperative as provided by K.S.A. 66-104d(g).
