How to Pay

Budget Billing

Our budget billing program is a billing option that helps stabilize your monthly electric bills. Leveling bill amounts throughout the year can help with budgeting and keeps you from getting caught off guard when higher energy usage leads to a higher bill than expected. How it works is SCEC will use the average of your electrical usage of the last 12 months to determine your monthly bill amount. To be eligible, you must have lived at your current address for at least 12 months and your SCEC account must have a zero balance. To enroll, complete the enrollment form and a member of our member services team will be in contact with you to set up your account. If you are not sure if you qualify, contact us at 888-326-3356.
