Youth Tour & Leadership Camp
Each year, Sumner-Cowley Electric provides a unique and exciting opportunity for high school students whose parents or guardians are members of the co-op. Sumner-Cowley Electric sponsors two trips, all expenses paid: the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour in Washington D.C. and the Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Both trips provide an excellent opportunity for students to learn about electric cooperatives, interpersonal communications and leadership skills.
