· Each Spring, Sumner-Cowley holds an annual meeting in Wellington, Kansas.  The meeting starts with lunch from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.  The business meeting takes place at 1:15 pm, followed by a question and answer session.  There are many door prizes given and a chance to win $1,000 credit on your electric bill.

· Members helping Members (MHM) is when our members round up their bill to the nearest dollar amount and the additional money collected is put into the MHM fund.  The MHM fund has a volunteer committee that meets several times a year to decide how to disperse these funds.  The funds are to be used to help the local communities where our members live.
